Synphaet Karnjanaburi, situated in the province of Karnjanaburi, embarks on an extension designed to enhance the patient care experience, drawing inspiration to transform a 30-year-old hospital design (Karnjanaburi Memorial Hospital). The primary focus is on creating an environment that seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings, harnessing the positive impact of nature to uplift the overall work atmosphere.
Central to this extension is the creation of an oasis path, meticulously designed to promote well-being and sustainability. The passive design principles incorporated into rehabilitative spaces prioritize the needs of patients, fostering a natural healing process. The intention is to establish an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility, transforming the hospital into a space that transcends the traditional perception of science and rigidity, evolving into a holistic healing environment.
Both the interior and exterior spaces of Synphaet Karnjanaburi are crafted with a sense of holistic design, with a specific emphasis on nature healing therapy. A key element in this design is the extensive use of wood, contributing to a warm and inviting ambiance. The careful selection of materials, including the graphic design elements, focuses on creating an overall mood characterized by warm brown tones, complemented by refreshing hints of greenery.
The overarching concept seeks to redefine the hospital experience, emphasizing a harmonious connection with nature and an ambiance that fosters holistic healing. Synphaet Karnjanaburi aspires to be more than a medical facility, aiming to be a sanctuary where individuals can not only receive care but also immerse themselves in an environment that promotes well-being and tranquility.
